Ryuhei Shimada, a detective with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Investigation Unit 1, known for his composed demeanor and sharp tongue, opts to join this new initiative. His assignment places him at Akamine Middle School, which outwardly appears typical but harbors dark issues such as drug use and hidden shootings. On the other hand, Ryoko Asamura, a Japanese language teacher at the same school, vehemently opposes the new system, often taking the students’ side and clashing with Ryuhei Shimada.
