After six years of not seeing each other, Ruan Liu Zheng, a neurosurgeon at Xicheng Hospital, is sent on a trip to Africa to bring a patient back to China and meets her ex-husband, Ning Zhi Qian, who is the most experienced neurosurgeon at Bei Ya Hospital.Upon their return, she decides to cut ties with him and tries all means to avoid him but nature will have its way, she is later posted to his hospital as a secondment.
